Steep driveways and tight turns — we send the truck that fits.
Golden and the foothills above it have driveways a twenty-six-foot truck genuinely cannot climb. We ask for a photo of the approach and send a smaller truck with a shuttle where it is needed.
Moving inside Golden is priced exactly as anywhere else we work: $155 an hour for 2 movers + truck, a 3 hours minimum, and travel time already inside the rate. There is no Golden zone fee and no mileage line on the invoice.
On the quote call we ask three things — how many rooms, how many flights of stairs, and how close the truck can park. Those decide the hours, and the hours decide the price. Everything else is already included: blankets, shrink wrap, floor runners, dollies and straps.
Crews take furniture apart and put it back together, and boxes are carried to the room written on the label rather than stacked by the front door.
“Quoted $155 an hour, finished in four, charged four. The estimate was the invoice, which is apparently rare in this business.”
“They measured the staircase over video before quoting the piano. Everyone else guessed and added a fee later.”
“Booked Wednesday, moved Saturday, 10am window and they knocked at 10:05.”
“Three movers, six hours, exactly what they said on the phone. No surprises at the end.”
“Our closing moved up and they took the new date without a panic surcharge or any attitude.”
“Wrapped every piece of furniture before it left the house. Nothing arrived with a scratch.”
“The crew carried boxes to the labelled rooms instead of stacking everything by the door.”
“1890s staircase, heavy dresser, zero damage to the plaster. They knew what they were doing.”
“They booked the service elevator with my building. I did not have to chase anyone.”
“Early morning slot so the truck could park in Olde Town. Smart scheduling.”
“HOA loading zone was cleared before they arrived. Thought of everything.”
“Five bedrooms with a full basement. Four movers, done in a day, fair price.”
“Straightforward, polite, fast. Exactly what you want and rarely get.”
“They put the drive time in the quote instead of adding it to the clock.”
